Did you know, I've been interested in sailing since I was a teenager.

A fate in 2022 brought me closer to water, waves, tidal adventures and sailing again.

Today I'm writing for you and all adventure enthusiasts like me about one of the hardest and most challenging sports in the world,

The Vendée Globe is a spectacular single-handed world race that takes place every four years. It is known as the toughest sailing regatta in the world, with skippers taking on the challenge of sailing around the world non-stop without technical support. The participants have to cope with wind and weather alone while fighting tirelessly against the oceans.

The sailors then fight 45,000 kilometers through the rough waters and stormy conditions before they reach their destination port again after an average of 90 days.
