Strengthened by gratitude

Not broken

You know it. First you kick, then you start crawling, get up and walk on your own two feet.

Most of the time the path goes straight ahead. But sometimes, despite his compass, he gets lost in the twists and turns of fate. Sometimes, despite plans A and B, you can't stick to your original path. Shaped by external resistance and forced to take a new path, you sometimes need years to get back to your path.

It's not for nothing that the sentence strengthens me:

The journey is the destination

This guiding principle can motivate you to never lose sight of your goal. No matter how difficult the circumstances, how many ups and downs you experience, how many years there are in between, how old you are. How many earthquakes destroy your path. How much scree there is to deal with on your climbing path.

Believe me, all of the above hit me hard. An earthquake of loss. From companies, partners, jobs, loss of home, fraud, blackmail, coercion, terminal illness diagnosis and and and in a very short time.

I could go into more detail, but I just don't feel like doing that here and now. Maybe in an exclusive interview...

Some would probably have been buried and broken by this huge hurricane. I'm too attached to life. Had the irrepressible strength to get help, to report it, to get up, even if I was almost stranded on a deserted island.

These really difficult circumstances encourage me once again today not to lose sight of my goal and to be grateful.

There are people who believe in you when you're almost falling apart. If you open yourself up, so many things are possible.

The strength, the gratitude and your fighting nature, which each of us is ultimately born with, keep me going.

Accepting help is not a weakness, but a strength!

Not to be broken, but the eye, looking forward. Not to give up the compass, to withstand the high waves, no matter how hard the waves crash against your ark. How hard the spray hits your face.

As the skipper, you hold your rudder firmly in your hand and let your ship glide with the waves. A few times you will switch sides, sailing windward or leeward into the wind. Last but not least, the gratitude and joy of having reached the finish line wins.

I feel strengthened by gratitude.

Writing helps me sort out my thoughts and at the same time, I follow my old passion. It always inspires me to keep telling stories.

To transport experiences, stories and factual content and to share them with you, the public.

So I wish you an equally grateful life, some people are talking about resilience today. There are different ways to get to your destination, the important thing is to stay with yourself and hold your compass firmly in your hand.

As I write these lines I'm listening to this song.

Music has accompanied me since I can remember and inspires me to write lyrics from and about life.

I'm currently riding the French wave...😉

Thank you to everyone who accompanied me through this difficult time.

Thank you everyone for reading my lines today.

A life without gratitude is like a soulless life.

Gabriela Lutz

Warmly, Gabriela❣
