Social media vs. self-healing.
How online platforms can promote our recovery
In recent years, social media has undergone remarkable development. No longer just a medium to communicate with friends and family, it has evolved into a place where people can share, inform and even heal.
Yes, you read that right - social media can help you heal yourself
How is this supposed to work, you ask?!
In this blog post I will break down how online platforms and self-healing can go hand in hand. Are you on social media every day and, to be honest, feel like shit or are you totally screwed? Use the time and the favor to get support, yes also via social media... No magic, just opening yourself up.
Promote the exchange of experiences
One of social media's greatest strengths is its ability to connect people and share common interests. When it comes to self-healing, such communities are invaluable. People struggling with similar challenges or illnesses may find a support group on the vastness of the internet that they don't have offline. Someone who is going through the same path of suffering as you.
Believe me, at first I thought I was alone with my misery
There are so many people out there who are going through the same thing as you. You rarely see it on the faces behind the mask from the outside until you talk about it and suddenly a world of trust, like-minded people and good conversations opens up. By sharing experiences and tips, you can learn from each other and encourage each other to find your own path to recovery. You are in the same boat and no one feels better than the suffering skippers who have already seen your boat.
Empowerment through knowledge
Another big role that social media plays in self-healing is the provision of information. Through the dissemination of knowledge and accessibility of information, you can develop a deeper understanding of your situation. Social media platforms provide space for blog posts, articles, forum discussions and live streams on every health and wellness topic imaginable. This not only promotes empowerment, but also opens up new possibilities for alternative approaches and therapies.
Mental health and support
In addition to physical illnesses, mental health plays a crucial role in self-healing. In recent years, numerous online communities have formed that support people with mental illnesses. These groups have become safe spaces where you as a sufferer can share your feelings, get advice and support each other to improve your mental health. From YouTube video bloggers to Instagram pictures to specialized forums, social media has become a vital tool for helping people with all sorts of problems.
Exercise caution
While the role of social media in self-healing cannot be underestimated, there is always the risk of misinformation and unqualified advice. It is important to use trusted sources and experts and not blindly rely on social media content. Critical consideration and reflection should always be in the foreground.
Do you love piano music?
Social media has personally helped me to find my inner peace and balance with piano music for my lyrics. As I write this article, I am listening to piano music by Aija Alsina. Aija is a gifted piano composer from Riga-Latvia. I have the honor and the good fortune to be in active contact with Aija. We found each other on Instagram because I follow other young pianists and that's how she found me and messaged me. Don't worry, it's not a fake this time!
Aija creates music for films and various TV commercials. Including for Polestar vehicles, TAG Heuer & Aston Martin, Huawai and other well-known brands and movies. Aija hit my piano spirit right in the heart. ❣
Despite Aija's commitment and with so many followers, Aija took the time to chat with me. Another fascinating way to bring Aija's piano concert into your living room is through innovative online concerts. The concerts are payable. It's my birthday soon and I wish for a concert by Aija vom Universum...💫🙏 I strongly suspect that this wish and a few others will come true soon. I'm ready for 2024!✨ 😊
You see
Even in difficult times, which I'm going through at the moment, there are always "Silver Liner". at the horizon. 🌟💫🌟✨
Even social media offers you the opportunity to promote self-healing and has evolved from an entertainment medium into a powerful tool that can support people in all types of healing. By sharing experiences, sharing knowledge, and creating communities of support and music, social media allows people to advance their own recovery. However, it is important to critically question the sources and always keep your own health and well-being in mind. Social media can be a great help, but it should be viewed as a complementary tool for personal self-healing.
In this sense, do not lose faith in yourself, in your inner strength, in your self-healing. Be brave, open up and you will open yourself up to new perspectives, new positive patterns. Exchange ideas. Talk about your emotional state, your fears and have faith that things will turn out okay. In addition to my misery at the moment, I will soon have my 16th operation under general anesthesia on December 6th on 🎅 day. Yes, you read that right 16th OP....🙈
I take it calmly and am confident and believe in the good and my self-healing in the truest sense of the word...
As I not only say but firmly believe:
《Something better is coming!!!》💫
Warmly and see you soon, your heartbeatwords
Gabriela Lutz❣🌟
